My Impact
I convinced 18 professors to write empathetic affirmations and displayed them on cards in the busiest hallway in CMU's University Center, to help reduce stress during finals week.
TLDR
Sad & frustrated from hearing about how stressed out all my friends were & how un-empathetic professors were being, I wanted to get professors to have more empathy on a human level & help reduce stress in my fellow students.
I set up mini installation booths around campus & recruited friends to hand out affirmation cards to their professors across departments.
After convincing the University Center staff to let me use the display in the most traversed hallway, I displayed 18 cards of affirmations leading up to & during finals week, giving students a reminder that everything would be okay no matter what.
